When it comes to diagnosing your animal's health problems a complete
history and physical exam is how we start. Our hospital is equipped with
a in house clinical laboratory and we can perform complete blood
counts, serum chemistries, thyroid levels.
We can perform quick in house screens for important diseases such as
heartworm/Lyme/anaplasmosis/Ehrlicia. Also we can test for feline
leukemia and feline AIDS.
Advanced testing such as allergy sensitivities are sent out to referral
laboratories. We can test for common food allergies and regional
environmental allergens as well as indoor allergens.
We have full digital radiology (X-ray) services including small animal,
dental and mobile for large animals. Telemedicine services are
available for referral evaluation of radiographs, ultrasounds and
microscopic cytology by board certified veterinary
radiologists/pathologists.
Endoscopic exam is also available for small and large animals. We have
an in house EKG as well as a telemedicine service for evaluation of your
animal's heart by a board certified veterinary cardiologist.
We highly recommend referrals when necessary for advanced
diagnostic or surgical procedures which we cannot provide.
Referrals for very advanced care are usually made to the closest
facilities available.
